For engagements that involve PHI we implement the technical safeguards HIPAA requires — encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and audit logging — and we work under a signed Business Associate Agreement. We treat these as architectural decisions from day one rather than bolt-ons.
How do you manage the time-zone difference with the US?
India is several hours ahead of US time zones, which gives a natural overlap in the US morning / India evening. We agree fixed overlap windows at kickoff for standups, demos, and reviews, and use asynchronous updates (written status, recorded walkthroughs) for the rest so work moves forward around the clock.
Can you sign US contracts, NDAs, and BAAs?
Yes. We contract in USD, sign mutual NDAs before technical discovery, assign IP to the client on delivery, and sign a Business Associate Agreement for any engagement involving protected health information.
