What Is Bruq AI? Influrion’s On-Device Knowledge Vault (Formerly BrainVault)

Bruq AI is a privacy-first Android app from Influrion Solutions. It turns the PDFs and images already on your phone into a personal knowledge vault you can search and ask in plain language. Answers can include Verified Sources citations back to your files. The product was formerly known as BrainVault — same lineage, new name.

Why Influrion built Bruq AI
People accumulate contracts, receipts, notes, screenshots, and papers across Downloads, messaging apps, and camera folders. Finding one detail later usually means scrolling folders — or uploading sensitive documents to a cloud AI.
Bruq AI keeps the archive local. It discovers or imports PDFs and images, extracts text on the device (including OCR for images), builds a searchable index, and lets you ask questions with hybrid search and grounded chat. Cloud AI is optional and bring-your-own-key (BYOK): used to phrase answers from retrieved snippets, not to store your vault on Influrion’s servers.
